I have been wearing Sister Locks for approximately two years, and the only regret I have is that I didn’t get them sooner.  My morning preparation time has been virtually cut in half because I no longer am enslaved to my hair.  Wearing my hair in its natural condition is not only more freeing, it is far more beautiful.  Never in all my 40+ years of existence have I received more compliments on my hair than I do now since wearing Sister Locks. 

 Even my own mother brags about the beauty of my hair.  I overheard her one day prompting her sister to look at my hair. 
 Then she remarked, “And that’s all her real hair too”.

 I smiled on the inside and the outside cause if I didn’t know before (which I already did), I sho’ nuf’ knew after hearing my momma’s comment,

For many years I thought off & on about locks, but  I just couldn’t see myself with them big fat locks—plus it was quite the commitment. Then as the years passed, I noticed a smaller, more glamorous looking lock, but it still was a great commitment. Then one day I was just plain tired of PERMS,, BRAIDS, CUTS & FADES! I begin to imagine a natural beautiful me. One day I received a Natural Situation newsletter in the mail from the Loc’ Man’s wife. In one of the articles, I read about the Loc’ Man, and his skills in doing Sisterlocks. This came at the right time---I was sold! I made my appointment.

I was pleased with the level of professionalism I experienced. Today I love my Sisterlocks! and my adult children love them on me (my kids are painfully honest with me about anything!) My locks are easy, natural to my face and my demeanor. I am that beautiful natural women I saw in my mind.

This is my prayer for you----------if it is time and you want to experience the real you-------go on--------get your Sisterlocks/Brotherlocks~!!!

I am glad to have Brotherlocks because our choice to loc’ is the voice of support for those contemplating crossing over to the natural path.
I believe our ancestors are smiling upon us!

I had always admired dreadlocks while I was in my new
natural state, but I could not see myself doing something so permanent, with little room for styling flexibility.  Two summers ago, I met a lady that had new Sisterlocks and she said that she had just gotten them retightened and explained that they would be micro dreads when they matured.  A week later I saw a beautiful head of mature locks on a lady at a community meeting I attended.

I was interested in Sisterlocks since then and started researching them a little online.  I ran into the website and called my sister who was also natural and told her about it.  Weeks later she called me and said that she met a guy named Rob, who was a Sisterlocks consultant.  After that I met with two more consultants, and five months later I scheduled my appointment with Rob. I have been locked for almost two weeks now, and I am enjoying every minute of the Sisterlocks Journey.
 

 Rob and his wife Charita were very hospitable and they know how to make you feel like royalty.  I am also glad that Sisterlocks consultants are there every step of the way on the journey to Sisterlocks.  I am
excited and enjoying this new way of life! 
My husband even loves running his fingers through my hair, which he rarely did before.
